A leading multinational enterprise operating across 13 countries is seeking a skilled Senior Consultant – SAP HCM to join its team in Chennai. With diversified operations across sectors such as engineering, construction, oil & gas, petrochemicals, and IT, the organisation is committed to innovation and operational excellence.This strategic role will be instrumental in enhancing HR system performance through the implementation and support of SAP HCM modules. The position offers strong exposure to cross-functional HR transformation projects, Gulf localisation requirements, and opportunities to contribute to full lifecycle SAP implementations in a dynamic, globally integrated environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

SAP HCM Implementation & Support

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of SAP HCM across core HR modules
  • Configure and optimise SAP HR modules to improve HR efficiency and compliance
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to existing systems

HR Process Optimisation & Integration

  • Design enterprise and personnel structures aligned with business needs
  • Manage master data integrity, reporting, and system testing activities
  • Lead data migration using tools such as LSMW and SAP LTMC

Payroll & Localisation Expertise

  • Oversee SAP Payroll configurations, ensuring compliance with Gulf region requirements
  • Collaborate with business teams to align payroll processes with statutory guidelines

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

  • Deliver training sessions for end-users and HR teams on system functionality
  • Coordinate with IT, HR, and business units to align system improvements with strategic goals

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–8 years of experience in SAP HCM, with full-cycle implementation exposure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • SAP HCM Certification preferred
  • Proven expertise in SAP HR configuration, payroll, and data migration (S4 HANA/ECC 6.0)
  • Strong communication, project leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Gulf country localisation is an advantage
  • Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations required
