Their Contract Logistics division is focused on developing sustainable logistics strategies, analyzing current business needs, and implementing project management tools to optimize efficiency and meet evolving customer requirements.

They are seeking a seasoned Contract Logistics Manager to lead and expand UAE operations. This pivotal role is accountable for full P&L ownership, strategic leadership, and operational performance across multiple sites. The role offers high visibility within the regional and global structure and plays a key part in driving transformative logistics solutions for diverse industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Drive strategic planning and execution of contract logistics growth initiatives
  • Lead development of tailored business solutions and commercial strategies
  • Ensure alignment with global CL strategy and regional objectives

Operational Excellence

  • Provide leadership across all contract logistics operations in the UAE
  • Monitor, control, and optimise P&L performance and cost structures
  • Oversee compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and business partners
  • Collaborate closely with UAE and regional stakeholders within a matrix organisation
  • Represent CL in high-level meetings and solution presentations

Business Development & Innovation

  • Identify and develop new warehousing opportunities and solutions
  • Lead the response to RFQs with competitive, technically sound proposals
  • Evaluate new premises and lead sourcing and procurement negotiations

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Guide and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure operational and personal development
  • Share expertise transparently and promote continuous improvement culture
  • Develop local talent to meet strategic goals and succession needs

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, preferably in Logistics
  • Minimum 5–10 years' senior leadership experience in contract logistics
  • Demonstrated expertise in both operations and business development
  • Proven P&L responsibility and cost control capabilities
  • In-depth understanding of warehouse processes, infrastructure, and IT systems
  • Strong RFQ and solution-design experience for complex logistics operations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal leadership skills
  • Knowledge of regional logistics market and regulatory environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
