Our client is a leading Sydney-based warehousing improvement solutions specialist. They seek a talented, experienced Head of Program Manager, who thinks well outside the box, to oversee all aspects of our client’s warehousing improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the program management team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop implement & oversee a detailed program management plan.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including design, and construction teams, to ensure seamless project execution from inception to completion.
- Identify and mitigate program & project risks & issues proactively, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
- Regular client & internal stakeholder reporting.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project management team, promoting innovation and best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular program & project updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, construction codes, and standards throughout the program & project lifecycle.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven 5 years of experience in senior project management within the commercial property improvement industry, with a minimum of experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated relevant case studies.
- Support will be provided for any outdated skills, such as CAD operation, to ensure alignment with the innovative approach of their future employees.
- Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
- Established method/system for capturing, filtering, prioritizing, assigning, and accomplishing tasks efficiently.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and client relationship management.
- A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
