Boasting a dedicated fleet of cargo aircraft, extensive interline agreements, and strategic collaborations with global freight forwarders and GSAs, the airline is a prominent player in the global logistics network.
To support its ongoing expansion, the company is seeking a seasoned Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead its commercial strategy and market development initiatives. This senior leadership position will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, enhancing market presence, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth Leadership
- Formulate and implement strategies to achieve long-term commercial objectives
- Identify and execute opportunities for geographic and service line expansion
- Foster innovation in customer acquisition and market penetration
Commercial and Market Oversight
- Strengthen relationships with freight forwarders, BCOs, co-loaders, and agency partners
- Direct pricing strategies, sales planning, and network capacity alignment
- Ensure delivery of high-quality service standards aligned with market demands
Safety and Regulatory Compliance
- Champion a culture prioritising safety and regulatory adherence
- Guarantee compliance with international aviation standards and protocols
- Manage safety systems and operational risk mitigation processes
Financial and Performance Management
- Work alongside the CFO to develop and manage commercial budgets effectively
- Track performance indicators and implement measures to boost profitability
- Lead cost-efficiency and financial optimisation initiatives
Stakeholder and Industry Engagement
- Represent the airline at industry summits, conferences, and with regulatory bodies
- Build high-level relationships with governmental and commercial stakeholders
- Advance the airline’s profile and influence across strategic global markets
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years in a senior commercial role within cargo airline operations
- Strong grasp of global air cargo markets and aviation compliance requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in commercial team management and strategic execution
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in budget planning, financial oversight, and cost control
- Experience with aviation safety management systems and compliance protocols
