General Manager - Building Solutions

Our retained client is an innovative building solutions specialist, they renovate, restore & refurbish corporate, commercial & industrial spaces. They seek an experienced, hands-on General Manager, to lead & mentor this rapidly expanding business unit and its talented team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the business unit, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Oversee the HR function in alignment with company policies and target talent outcomes
• Actively lead reviews of all contracts and tenders
• Work with the project managers to oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project management team, promoting innovation and best practices.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven 10 years leadership experience in a GM or similar senior role within a tier 1 MNC.
• Established method/system for capturing, filtering, prioritizing, assigning, and accomplishing tasks efficiently.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and client relationship management.
• Degree in Business Management or similar.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards preferred.
