They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead planning, cost control, and risk management across EPC, transmission, and substation projects. This is a strategic role responsible for ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance across multi-million-dollar regional programmes. The ideal candidate will bring leadership maturity, technical acumen, and a structured approach to driving performance across project portfolios.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Controls

  • Lead integrated planning, scheduling, and control frameworks across all active projects
  • Develop and enforce cost control procedures aligned with corporate objectives
  • Drive baseline development, variance analysis, and corrective action planning

Financial Oversight & Risk Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across planning and execution phases
  • Ensure adherence to financial governance and reporting standards

Resource & Asset Management

  • Optimise allocation of resources to meet technical and commercial targets
  • Monitor asset utilisation to support project delivery efficiency
  • Align manpower plans with project lifecycles and milestone needs

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Facilitate transparent reporting and communication with senior leadership
  • Lead project control reviews and status meetings with key stakeholders

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 15–20 years of experience in Project Controls, preferably within EPC, Transmission, or Substation domains
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced project control tools
  • Strong command of cost control, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional project environments within the GCC or broader MENA region
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
