They are seeking an experienced Presales Manager – Industrial Automation & Digitalisation to lead the technical-commercial front end of complex solution sales. This role will play a strategic part in supporting revenue growth by shaping winning proposals, translating client requirements into technically robust solutions, and positioning the organisation as a trusted partner in digital transformation. Working closely with sales leadership, engineering teams, and global technology partners, the successful candidate will contribute directly to commercial success while influencing solution strategy across priority markets.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Technical Presales & Solution Development

  • Analyse client requirements and develop technically sound automation and digitalisation solutions.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, value-driven commercial proposals.
  • Lead technical discussions, presentations, and demonstrations with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and commercially viable solutions.

Bid Management & Proposal Development

  • Lead preparation of high-quality technical and commercial proposals for major tenders.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and international suppliers during bid development.
  • Ensure proposals meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and project standards.
  • Support contract clarification meetings and technical negotiations during bid evaluation.

Client Engagement & Technical Advisory

  • Act as technical advisor during early client engagement and opportunity qualification.
  • Support sales teams in positioning digitalisation and automation solutions effectively.
  • Engage with senior technical stakeholders to define project scope and system architecture.
  • Represent the organisation in technical workshops, solution reviews, and client consultations.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Support

  • Monitor emerging automation and digital technologies within utilities and industrial sectors.
  • Provide technical market insights to support sales strategy and product positioning.
  • Identify solution gaps and recommend enhancements aligned with market demand.
  • Support country leadership with technical inputs for strategic growth initiatives.

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–10 years’ experience in presales, solution engineering, or technical sales environments.
  • Strong background in industrial automation, digitalisation, or smart infrastructure solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex, solution-based bids and tender submissions.
  • Experience working with international OEMs, technology vendors, or global suppliers.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into commercially compelling proposals.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence technical and commercial teams.
  • Solid understanding of utilities, power, water, or industrial infrastructure sectors.
