Position Overview:
As the Head of Secondary School, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the secondary school. You will ensure that high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement are maintained. This role requires a strategic leader who can inspire students, staff, and the school community while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and vision for the secondary school, promoting excellence in education.
  • Oversee the implementation of the curriculum, ensuring it meets both local and international standards.
  • Lead and mentor teaching staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, implementing strategies for improvement where necessary.
  • Ensure the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students.
  • Engage with parents, students, and staff to build a supportive and inclusive school community.
  • Promote and support extracurricular activities that enhance student development.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to align secondary school objectives with overall school goals.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and scheduling for the secondary school.
  • Ensure compliance with educational regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a secondary school.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with international curricula (e.g., IB, Cambridge) is highly desirable.
