We are seeking an experienced Business Development/Sales Representative to join our team. The Business Development/Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for Lotus by driving revenue growth through new client acquisition and ongoing account management. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Professional Recruitment, Executive Recruitment, and HR services, and have experience in a wide breadth of sales strategies, and networking tactics, with a strong ability to build lasting relationships with clients and team members.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Proven sales experience with progressive growth.

  • Experience with professional or executive search and recruitment considered an asset

  • Strong consultative sales skills.

  • A natural curiosity and professional inquiring approach to obtaining information.

  • Ability to foster trust for ongoing relationship building.

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong time management and scheduling aptitude

  • Highly resilient and a natural problem solver.

  • Strong technological skills including Google Workspace.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a supportive growth mindset.

  • Experience with EOS run organizations is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities:

Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients based within an assigned sales territory.

Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential clients.

Attend Networking event and actively build upon a professional network through agreed to professional engagements and groups

Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling Lotus service modes to new and existing clients.

Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, customer activities and sales.

Consulting on the creation of suitable marketing materials

Researching competitors pricing as well as market conditions to shape marketing strategy.

Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events.

Participating in Lotus internal team meetings

Strategically negotiating with potential and existing clients to close sales providing the example of various solutions that can be customized for them.  Client follow up and follow through to close sales

Completing costing form for request for quote to clients - including RFPs and RFQs.

Reviewing scope of estimates for comprehensive accuracy

Connecting with clients and forwarding estimates for their review.

Conducting follow up calls with clients to assess effectiveness of Lotus support

Reporting of client status to Lotus Leadership,completing requested sales reporting

Active participation in networking groups on behalf of and as a representative of Lotus Group to maximize network opportunities
