Project Coordinator
Job Description:
Lotus is proud to partner with our client, an Edmonton based industry leader in the energy sector that is identifying a Project Coordinator to join their team in-office.
The Project Coordinator will be joining a collaborative team that values communication, innovation and delivering exceptional services to clients. They are seeking someone that enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is eager to be hands-on in a growing organization.
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive project coordination and document control support across multiple civil and industrial construction projects. Acting as a key liaison between site and office, the successful candidate will manage RFIs, submittals, safety documentation, sign-in sheets, material data sheets, and supplier coordination, while supporting progress reporting and ensuring accurate, up-to-date project records.
Role Responsibilities:
Maintain project directory structure (project folders, project documentations, contacts, latest drawings, safety docs, material data sheets, etc)
Prepare, compile and submit all material data sheets and shop drawings that are required under the project contract
Cross-check the material data sheet against the project specs
Collaboration with site crew and project team on various projects
Communication with suppliers and confirm lead times
Coordinate site safety requirements with site crew
Track submittal status and communicate with project team and client
Communicate and coordinate with site team to ensure field crew has all latest revisions of project documentation and requirements
Compile and submit all required safety documentation as per project requirements (docs prepared by site crew Tool box, FLHAs etc - collaboration with Project Team)
Assist with the collection of site documentation - back up for LEMs and Progress reports ( sign in sheets, QC paperwork), update and maintain the project directory
Role Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field is considered an asset
3-5 years relevant experience in civil construction projects considered an asset
Ability to work full-time in the office in Nisku
Comfortable working with Google Suite (Sheets, Drive, Docs)
Strong ability to clearly and professionally communicate with site teams, project managers, consultants, and suppliers
Collaborates effectively across departments and supports both site and project teams
Takes initiative to identify issues and support resolution
Positive attitude and willingness to learn, open to feedback and ongoing development
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willing to learn, adapt, and grow with a scaling organization
Valid Drivers License
