Sales Representative

 Job Description:

Lotus Group is proud to partner with our client, who is a leader in providing quality lubricants with a focus on exceptional customer service, to identify a Sales Representative in their Regina Branch.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the Sales Representative will play a key role in driving business growth and strengthening their presence in Saskatchewan. This individual will be responsible for developing new client relationships, identifying and qualifying opportunities, and ensuring the retention and expansion of existing accounts. The role balances day-to-day sales execution with a strategic focus on account growth and client success. With a mix of in-office and field-based responsibilities, the position offers opportunities for collaboration with colleagues both in-person and virtually.

Roles Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate the companys value proposition to secure new business opportunities while driving growth and profitability within existing client accounts.

  • Leverage multiple channels including referrals, online research, networking, and direct out reach to build and strengthen relationships with end users as well as distributor and reseller accounts.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closing deals.

  • Be adept in qualifying leads.

  • Employ strong phone skills for effective communication.

  • Effectively run virtual meetings with prospects and existing clients.

  • Expedite the resolution of customer issues to retain customers satisfaction.

  • Take the lead on complex proposals and bids.

  • Leverage CRM by entering all sales data and activities daily.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual gross profit expectations.

  • Attend other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Roles Requirements:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience in a Business Development/Outside Sales role

  • Prior experience in industrial, heavy equipment or MRO sales sectors is considered an asset.

  • Certification, Designation, Diploma or Degree in sales, marketing, project management, business administration, and/or marketing or another related field is considered an asset.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Growth mindset & continuous learner

  • Ability to retain detailed information, trouble shoot and solve problems.

  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail

  • Microsoft Office skills, CRM Skills (Microsoft Dynamics or other).

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt to shifting business priorities.

  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service both internally and externally.
