Schedule: M-F, 40 HR
Duration/Start Date: 6/30/2025
Salary: $57 - 67/hourly

Candidates with previous experience working at Microsoft Corporation, either as a full-time employee (FTE) or contractor, are strongly preferred.

Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team: Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross-functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints. Provide program/project schedules and status reports.

Key projects:
- Develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
- Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
- Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
- Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
- Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
- Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
- Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
- Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors

Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred

- Experienced with exec level engagement and comfortable with an ambiguous and fast paced environment
- PM experience
- Prior Microsoft history is preferred but not required.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 6 years of experience with technical program management.
2. Minimum 8+ years of experience with managing Azure DevOps and work items
3. Minimum 8 years of experience with PMP or some sort of project management certification
