Salary: $44/hourly
Candidates with previous experience working at Microsoft Corporation, either as a full-time employee (FTE) or contractor, are strongly preferred.
Summary:
The main function of a BI Project Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the Business Intelligence project cycle, with responsibilities that include project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting. Manage all projects building Business Intelligence solutions for internal and external clients.
Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is
o Capacity Planning in the overall supply chain. Supply chain planning specifically. The manager owns the planning for entire Azure cloud in Microsoft. Sponsor has 5 peers who manage specific products where they interact with stakeholders and they provide horizontal support with this. Align plans against the budget and set of stakeholders they share.
o Team owns planning and orchestration
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: This role will be made up of
- 20% meetings
- 40% tooling related processes
- 20% understanding data and ad hoc data requests
- 20% ad hoc projects (example: triaging and error process improvement)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information
- Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Works closely with Client's Product corporate sales team to write and finalize monthly and annual press release.

- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- 5-7 years' experience required.
