VP of Finance (B2B-commerce Startup)

We are recruiting on behalf of hyper-growth Indonesia B2B-commerce startup is looking for its first VP of Finance at their organisation to build and lead a highly dedicated and dynamic team.

Job Description

● Provide executive analysis on company's financial results and advise strategic recommendation to improve financial performance and drive business growth as per company’s objectives

● Oversees the Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Treasury Operations, as well as Corporate Finance (valuation, modelling, financial projections)

● Lead and manage business planning, capital, and operational budgeting processes

● Provide analysis and identify solutions to improve cash-flow management and working capital

● Ensure financial and tax reports and filings (for internal and external stakeholders) be produced in a timely manner with excellent quality as per IFRS and local statutory standards

● Ensure compliance with financial processes, systems, policies, and tax as per local country regulations

● Identify, manage and mitigate financial risk, optimising processes and functions to remain within risk tolerance

● Manage relationship with external financial stakeholders (ie: banks, financial institutions, auditors, tax authorities)

● Able to attract and retain top talents in order to build a strong finance organisation overseeing multiple-country operation

● Able to manage and scale finance processes across multiple countries

● Able to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced start-up culture

Key Requirements:

● Min. 15 years of working experience with min. 5 years as senior leadership position in Finance/Accounting field

● Finance and accounting degree or relevant degree from a top university

● Big-4 background is a plus

● Master’s or certification in accounting/finance is a plus

● Proven track record in building finance organisation from the ground up (able to attract and retain top talents)

● Experience in managing operation across multiple countries is required

● Willing to work in a start-up environment and able to manage ambiguity and operate effectively

● Entrepreneurial mindset and abilities to lead a dynamic team at a fast-paced environment

● Strong analytical and business mindset

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Knowing Bahasa is a plus)

● Willing to be based in Jakarta (Indonesia
