Accounting Manager (B2B-commerce Startup)

We are recruiting on behalf of hyper-growth Indonesia B2B-commerce startup is looking for Accounting Manager.

Job Description

● Oversee end-to-end finance, accounting and tax matters in the company

● Produce high-quality financial accounting, reporting (management and statutory reports), month end closing process, reconciliation and consolidation in a timely-manner, using IFRS standards

● Ensuring compliance with local regulations on tax and accounting

● Manage relationships with external stakeholders (auditors, consultants)

● Provide variable contribution analysis, cost vs benefit, forecasting, budgeting

● Manage and review daily finance, accounting and tax activities to ensure compliance, accuracy and completeness of accounting records and transactions and reports in the company

● Liaise with the other departments (Product, Commercial, Operations) to ensure all finance aspects have been properly incorporated and assessed

● Propose and review improvements in finance, accounting, business processes and procedures

● Able to build and lead Finance & Accounting team including retaining top-talents

Key Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree from a well-known university, master's degree is a plus

● Min. 5 years of working experience as middle to senior level position in Finance/Accounting field

● Preferably has combined experience working in big-4 and start-ups

● Proven track record in building, managing, and developing a team

● Solid understanding in accounting, tax and financial standards and local regulations

● A strong team player who is able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse environment

● Excellent communication skills both in English and Indonesian

● Willing to be based in Jakarta (Indonesia)
