Sr BackEnd Developer (NodeJS)

About The Role:

Our client, an important fintech is looking for a Senior Backend Developer, to join its development team and be responsible for delivering high-quality, user-friendly web applications. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, back-end and front-end developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural discussions and make informed decisions on technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into the team's workflow.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the development workflow.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior developers in your team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a software engineer
• Experience with modern technologies and frameworks like Node.js, Express, NestJS, TypeScript.
• PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Strong understanding of Agile development principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Advantage: Knowledge of retail banking, especially banking as a service and neobanks
• Full time availability
• Fluent English

Hiring Conditions:
