Senior Backend Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Integration Engineer to join our client's team.

 In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining scalable backend services, REST APIs, and serverless workflows, while ensuring reliable integration between internal systems and external platforms.

You will work closely with engineering teams to deliver robust, well-tested services that support high-impact, production-grade applications used by large international clients.

NOTE: This role is available for LatAm based candidates

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build and enhance serverless components and AWS state machines.
• Integrate backend systems with external APIs and third-party services.
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain automated integration tests across services.
• Optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems

You should have experience with the following technologies:

• Strong experience with Python.

• Solid knowledge of SQL / PostgreSQL.

• API development using Django and/or FastAPI.
• Experience with GitHub Actions / CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Experience with integration testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Serverless: Lambda, Step Functions, ECS Fargate
• Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation
