At Lushomo, we support international partners, especially within the UN, by turning complex research and data into engaging, meaningful communication. Now, we’re hiring a senior-level communicator to lead quality across our creative, editorial, and technical work.

Your Role

You won’t do all the writing or designing, but you’ll ensure everything we deliver is client-ready, strategic, and sharp. You’ll guide standards, mentor teams, and support continuous improvement across content, design, and editorial outputs.

What You’ll Do

  • Set and uphold quality standards across all communication formats

  • Review key deliverables or guide teams to do so

  • Ensure alignment across teamsdesign, editorial, project management
    Give feedback on reports, infographics, websites, videos, etc.

  • Help teams understand complex content and communicate it clearly
  • Mentor team members and support skills development
  • Stay ahead of industry and tech trends (including AI)
  • Contribute to refining our communications offer and strategy

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have at least a Masters Degree in a relevant subject

  • Have led communications for international organisations (ideally UN-related)
  • Bring senior experience in messaging, editorial, or visual content
  • Have a sharp eye for quality and a collaborative, supportive approach
  • Are comfortable working with technical or research-heavy content
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English (bonus: French or other UN languages)
  • Care about impact, learning, and helping teams thrive
