THE ROLE

The Buyback Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of our Buyback business unit by closing and onboarding new partners and managing key cross-functional projects. We're looking for someone with a commercial mindset, great presentation and project management skills, and a passion for pre-owned and circular business models. Preference for candidates based in Lisbon.

THE TEAM

The Buyback team is responsible for managing and growing our Buyback business unit, which offers resale solutions to brands and retailers to enable their customers to sell items back to them for credit or cash. We currently power FARFETCHs Second Life program, Selfridges Resellfridges program, and have other partners in the pipeline. By powering these programs, this team is focussed on enabling brands and retailers to transition to a more circular economy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • New Partner Onboarding
    • Support the Business Development team on all Buyback-related matters including the identification of target customers, the development of pitch materials, and the commercial proposition to be offered to new partners

    • Negotiate contracts and close partnerships with interested leads provided by the Business Development team

    • Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding new partners

    • Implement new process and tools to optimise the new partner onboarding process and deliver continuous improvement

    • Keep clients satisfied by during the onboarding process by delivering exceptional client service and acting as the key point of liaison between partners and internal teams

  • Project & Programme Management
    • Manage strategic, cross-functional Buyback projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and in line with expectations

    • Provide programme management support to a broader portfolio of Buyback projects to ensure delivery of our objectives

    • Drive continuous improvement in processes and ways of working


WHO YOU ARE

  • You have more than 5 years of experience in a project management or a commercial growth focussed role. 
  • You are an excellent communicator and problem solver with great organizational skills.
  • You love working collaboratively in a cross-functional role.
