About the Team

The Customer Care team is a new arm of the Business Development department that optimizes overall company operations towards a customer first approach. The objective is to identify business process gaps that detract from a strong customer experience and we are looking for changemakers that will lead the charge.

We are looking to partner with a strong project manager to join the Customer Care team to lead the ideation and execution of strategic cross-functional projects geared towards structural improvements that will drive the business forward by strengthening and optimizing the merchandise and sales connection.


About the Role

  • Managing the alignment and direction of incoming merchandise (buying direction) with customer demand by developing geography and channel specific inventory profiles.
  • Creation, management, and control of the campaign calendar. Coordinate with the sales teams to identify and consolidate promo and push opportunities and work with a team of curators to properly match and allocate an appropriate pool of stock for campaigns.
  • Create and define a negotiations playbook for marketplaces to continuously optimize the close and conversion rate of the company.
  • Map and audit existing process to be able to identify, review, and analyze critical fail points and lead cross functional task forces to execute solutions that will plug the gaps.
  • Participate and bring insight to high level strategic discussions involving structural policy changes and/or priority investments.

About you

You graduated in Merchandising (or similar) and you are at least 3 years experienced in Project Management. You have a proven exposure and a working baseline knowledge of merchandising math and typical sales metric. You have strong analytical, project and stakeholder management skills. Of course, you are amazing at speaking English, and it is a plus if you also know how to speak and write in Japanese.
