What You'll Do

As an Accounting Coordinator at LYNKED, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day accounting operations for a dedicated set of companies within our consortium. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will operate with a high degree of independence — ensuring your portfolio of entities is accurate, compliant, and reporting-ready at all times. This is not a support role; you will own your book of work and be expected to manage it with minimal oversight. You will:

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Own end-to-end AP and AR operations across your assigned entities, including invoice processing, vendor payments, collections, approvals, and follow-ups

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all payables and receivables, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks

Communicate professionally with vendors, internal staff, and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and keep accounts current

Review expense submissions and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures

General Ledger & Reconciliations

Maintain the general ledger for your assigned companies, ensuring journal entries are accurate, complete, and posted on time

Perform monthly bank reconciliations by matching bank statements to general ledger transactions and investigating discrepancies

Perform intercompany reconciliations by reviewing balances and transactions between related entities to ensure accuracy and consistency

Support inventory tracking, costing, and month-end inventory adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Maintain organized financial records and support audit and compliance requirements

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

Execute month-end close independently for your assigned companies, ensuring all entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules are complete and submitted on time

Prepare financial statements and management reports for Controller review, with clear and accurate supporting documentation

Coordinate financial information flow between departments and entities within the consortium

Proactively identify and flag variances, anomalies, or issues — you are expected to surface problems before they escalate, not wait to be asked

Systems & Process

Manage day-to-day accounting operations in QuickBooks Online; proficiency in QBO is required for this role

Support process improvements and workflow efficiencies across the finance function as the team grows

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned from time to time

What We're Looking For

3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience in a corporate accounting environment

Demonstrated, hands-on experience with month-end close, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required; experience with multi-entity or intercompany accounting is a strong asset

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation or active pursuit is considered an asset

Proven ability to operate independently, manage a full portfolio of accounting responsibilities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy — this role directly supports the integrity of our financial reporting

A proactive, ownership-driven mindset — someone who takes initiative, follows through, and communicates issues early

Comfortable working in a growing company where processes continue to evolve and adaptability is valued

What We Offer

Health & Dental Benefits: Company paid comprehensive health, dental, critical illness & life insurance.

Professional Development: Tuition reimbursement and support toward CPA designation.

Retirement Savings Program: Company-matched Group RRSP with employer contributions through a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP).

Growth Opportunities: Be part of a growing finance team with a clear path toward senior accounting and financial analysis responsibilities as the business scales.
