A fast-growing ClimateTech SaaS company headquartered in Berlin, on a mission to help businesses reach net zero. Their platform automates complex sustainability workflows, delivers CSRD compliance, and supports emissions reduction through intelligent tooling and expert guidance.

This is a high-impact role in one of the most important growth markets of the decade.

The Role

You'll own the full sales cycle — from discovery to close — with a strong inbound engine doing the heavy lifting (~90% inbound). This is not a numbers game. It's a quality close role where your impact is measured by results, not activity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle from first call to signed contract
  • Run structured discovery calls to uncover buying criteria and decision dynamics
  • Present and position the SaaS solution compellingly to senior stakeholders and C-Level executives
  • Manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and maintain clean CRM hygiene
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close six-figure deals
  • Collaborate directly with founders on ICP, messaging, and process optimisation
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within inbound accounts
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns where needed

What They're Looking For

This is a Closer + Builder role. They want someone who can close from day one and contribute to scaling the sales function over time.

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS — at least one tenure of 2+ years
  • Proven quota overperformance (100%+) with verifiable numbers
  • Native German speaker; strong business English
  • Experienced working structured, CRM-driven sales environments
  • Confident handling C-Level stakeholders and six-figure deal sizes
  • High ownership mindset — thrives in a remote, self-directed setup

Mindset:

  • Highly sales-driven, competitive, and motivated by commission
  • Hungry to build something — not just execute a playbook
  • Actively investing in their own development (books, tools, communities)
  • Collaborative, high-integrity, positive — no solo players

Strong preference for candidates from: top-tier SaaS companies (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Personio, Rippling, Celonis, or comparable scale-ups)
