PowerShell Expert - Full-Time, Remote

M365Consult Role Overview:

M365Consult is a fast-growing European startup specializing in Microsoft 365 solutions, dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and enhancing our digital brand. We seek motivated professionals who are eager to grow and contribute in a dynamic environment.

We currently face challenges in internal scripting expertise, particularly within Microsoft environments like Exchange (both Online and On-Premises). This critical role focuses on owning the development, troubleshooting, and optimization of PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency. Additionally, the role involves mentoring team members by teaching PowerShell incrementally during collaborative script development, elevating basic scripting skills to advanced proficiency.

This full-time (with potential part-time start) position blends technical support and educational mentorship, providing a unique opportunity to impact our operations and technical capabilities in a flexible remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft environments with foundational knowledge.

Expertly develop, test, implement, and optimize PowerShell scripts targeting automation and operational improvements.

Deliver hands-on PowerShell training to team members tailored to their skill levels, focusing on real-world script creation and modification.

Collaborate closely with IT and recruitment teams to understand automation needs and develop effective solutions.

Assist in documenting scripts and system configurations for knowledge sharing and continuity.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven PowerShell scripting expertise with demonstrable projects or script portfolios.

Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365 capabilities, and Azure automation (e.g., Runbooks).

Experience mentoring or teaching technical subjects, preferably PowerShell.

Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills in a remote work context.

Excellent communication, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-experts.

Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
