Role Overview

We seek an experienced remote International Tax Lawyer to drive our Bulgarian market entry and ensure full compliance with national and international tax law. You will play a strategic role in structuring our Bulgarian business, achieving tax efficiency, and coordinating documentation and regulatory negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on tax-efficient corporate structuring for Bulgarian operations.
• Ensure compliance with Bulgarian tax regulations and relevant double taxation treaties.
• Draft/review legal and tax documentation relating to group tax planning, transfer pricing, and corporate governance.
• Represent the company in negotiations with Bulgarian tax authorities.
• Monitor and analyze legal/regulatory developments to maintain compliance.​

Qualifications

• Law degree with specialization in international corporate tax.
• Minimum 5 years experience in international tax law, including Bulgarian tax exposure.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Bulgarian tax rules and cross-border treaties.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian.​
