Role Overview
We seek an experienced remote International Tax Lawyer to optimize tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance with Latvian and international tax laws. Your expertise in cross-border taxation, double taxation agreements, and global business operations will guide our strategic tax planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on tax implications of international transactions and optimal tax structures.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Latvian regulations and international double taxation treaties.
- Prepare legal documents and contracts for tax planning and corporate restructuring.
- Represent the company with Latvian and international tax authorities.
Qualifications
- Law degree specializing in tax law, with international taxation focus.
- Minimum 5 years experience in tax law, proven cross-border advisory track record.
- In-depth knowledge of Latvian and international tax laws including treaties.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Latvian.
