In your position, you will work in the Dredging division.

In the role of International Project HR Manager, you can travel worldwide and work on the most exciting dredging projects! Are you ready for an international challenge?

In this versatile role, you are responsible for the entire HR scope of one of the (larger) projects. As a Project HR Manager, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining an HR department on location, in collaboration with the head office. In this role, you formulate the HR policy and personnel strategy within the contractual frameworks of the project.

What you will do next as an International Project HR Manager:

  • Manage and implement HR processes: recruitment, selection, development, performance management, personnel planning, complaints, and dispute handling, manage administrative processes;
  • Prepare and implement the project's HR strategy, international employment conditions, policies, and HR systems;
  • Proactively advising project management on employment conditions and HR processes;
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements, translating them into employment conditions for project staff and trade union agreements;
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and associated regulations;
  • Management of all industrial relations and HR contact person towards the customer and trade unions.

What you bring:

  • Have a completed HBO education in HRM, Business Administration, or Law, preferably;
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international (maritime) project organization;
  • You can deal well with time pressure in a complex project environment and see it as a challenge when unexpected changes occur;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written;
  • Customer-oriented and culturally sensitive;
  • Problem-solving and excellent social and communication skills;
  • Flexibility. You have no problem working at the project location in Manila, Philippines in a 6-week schedule on the project, followed by a period of 4 weeks off.
