Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a BEng or MEng graduate mechanical engineer with an interest in design, modelling, and draughting. The successful applicant will form part of a small diverse team responsible for designing, building, testing, and improving thermal waste treatment equipment.

We seek to fill this position by January 2023.

Major duties and responsibilities

• Mechanical design of high temperature process equipment

• Material selection

• Stress analysis
• Design of supporting structures
• Ensuring designs comply with client requirements
• Mechanical modelling and draughting of designs
• Finite element analysis of designed parts

• Equipment specification

Essential requirements

• BEng in mechanical engineering required
• MEng will be an advantage

• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work under pressure with deadlines
