Job Title: Contract Manager

Job Description:

  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and project specifications.

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from pre-award to post-award, including contract reviews, variation orders, renewals, and closeouts.

  • Liaise with project teams, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure all contractual obligations are clearly defined, monitored, and fulfilled.

  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, provide recommendations, and support dispute resolution when necessary.

  • Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and timelines to ensure alignment with agreed terms and project milestones.

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of contractual correspondence, claims submissions, and progress reports.

  • Review and support procurement-related contracts, ensuring consistency with main contract terms.

  • Maintain well-organized contract documentation and ensure audit readiness.

  • Provide guidance on contract interpretation and advise internal stakeholders on compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management to support overall project success.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management or administration within the construction or civil engineering industry.

  • Must have prior experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects in Singapore.

  • Strong knowledge of standard construction contract forms (e.g., PSSCOC, FIDIC, SIA) and contract law.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management tools/software.

  • Able to work independently under pressure, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory and compliance standards for infrastructure and public sector projects is an advantage.
