SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Marketing Leader is to lead and drive brand growth in Singapore and across the APAC region. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of the Web3 and crypto landscape, along with a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. Key focus areas include content marketing, SEO, thought leadership, email and reactivation campaigns, community engagement, events, and performance marketing.

This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Legal, and global Marketing teams to craft market-specific initiatives that enhance visibility and user engagement across APAC.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Content & SEO: Understand our current performance on SEO on both web and mobile, and potentially work with an external provider to improve our performance through a combination of technical improvements and content strategy
  • Thought Leadership: Work with the APAC leadership team on a thought leadership content strategy to position Gemini as an expert in the Web3 & crypto space
  • Email marketing: Work on ad-hoc blast campaigns, journeys, cohort-based A/B testing through incentive structures
  • Reactivation: Understanding our customer cohorts and crafting targeted messages, testing, measuring, and iterating where required
  • Social Media & Community: Help devise a plan to build and engage our community of users through tailored and targeted content using the right distribution channels
  • Events: Plan and execute on a roster of engagement events with our partners and top clients in Singapore
  • Brand Sponsorships: Lead our sponsorships strategy and execution, helping us prioritise the right brand partnerships and activations in the space
  • Partnerships: Explore interesting and creative partnerships to increase our brand awareness and customer acquisition and engagement

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10-15 years of general marketing experience with a focus on brand presence and awareness, content strategy, SEO, events, social media, and community management
  • Experienced in measurement and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Looker
  • Experience using CRM and email marketing tools
  • Basic understanding of performance marketing channels such as Facebook, Google, and other ad networks and how to use them effectively
  • Experience working with community groups such as Telegram, Reddit, Discord, and others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong bias for action
  • Able to implement best practices in an array of organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • An optimistic doer with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Passionate about crypto and Web3
  • Team leadership and management experience
