Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Serviceperson to join our team on a contract basis. The Serviceperson will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to our clients' facilities and equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of technicians and supervisors to ensure the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment and facilities, including but not limited to vehicles, machinery, and buildings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and provide effective solutions
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment and minimize downtime
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed, including cleaning and organizing work areas
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality of services provided

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maintenance or construction industry
• Rio Tinto Inducted
• HR or MR min Driving License
• 4WD Cert Current
• Knowledge of basic mechanical LV
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks
