Trading Application Engineer (Experienced) - REMOTE

Compensation: Base salary €80000 - €130000 per annum + variable

Work model: Remote

Our partners are trading firms with in-house developed trading platforms and are looking for experienced Systems, Platform, and/or DevOps engineers, ideally with a background in Trading or Finance, to apply their knowledge to the maintenance and development of the trading systems. This role works closely with many corners of the organization and focuses, amongst others, on 1) providing first-line support to traders during trading hours, 2) improving the stability of the entire trading system, 3) implementing and enhancing the monitoring set-up, 4) introducing automations where possible.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role (at least 3 years, ideally in a financial markets settings)

• A proactive and driven attitude

• Robust problem solving and communication skills (especially under pressure)

• Familiarity with Linux environments

• Experience automating processes using any of: Python, Bash, Lua, PowerShell

• Proficiency in SQL

• Strong experience with containerization technologies

• Solid understanding of monitoring tools

• Fundamental knowledge of networking
