-Job Description-

Primary Purpose: Under general supervision, you will maintain, repair, and service heating and air conditioning systems and equipment for our valued customers. Your work will ensure the safe operation and efficiency of all HVAC systems. By adhering to our code of values and maintaining professionalism, you'll have fun and ensure our customers are delighted with our services.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in various heating and air conditioning systems, including rooftop equipment.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
• Install new heating and air conditioning systems and components as needed.
• Relocate and expand existing HVAC systems.
• Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and wiring.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and piping to code specifications.
• Wire and connect motors, compressors, and controls according to schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment, including changing filters and cleaning condensers and coils.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and labor used for each job.
• Keep your company vehicle, tools, and inventory in excellent condition.
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
• Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during every service call.
• Represent the company professionally, wearing the approved uniform and maintaining a positive attitude.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to learn and adapt to processes and field technology, including tablets and software systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, focusing on troubleshooting and repairs in-home service environments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and service techniques.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles of motors.
• Familiarity with local codes and regulations.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid Drivers License (required)

Compensation: Pay will depend on experience. We are looking for candidates ranging from medium-level experience to Master HVAC Technicians.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• On-call rotation
• Year-round work

Work Location:

• New Iberia, LA 70560 (must be able to commute or relocate before starting)
