IT Project Manager

Are you ready to lead a high-impact infrastructure transformation project? Join a strategic IT team as an IT Project Manager, driving the full lifecycle of a major datacenter hosting renewal and migration initiative.

This project is critical for ensuring operational continuity while selecting a new service provider and executing a seamless transition of infrastructure services.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will oversee the end-to-end execution of this project across four core phases:

1. Requirements & Technical Specifications

• Audit the current IT architecture and complete technical documentation.
• Consolidate the inventory of services, assets, and dependencies (networks, servers, storage, VMWare).
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and current providers to assess future needs.
• Draft technical clauses and evaluation criteria (availability, SLAs, reporting, operational procedures).

2. Tender Publication & Technical Support

• Oversee the publication of the tender and lead technical Q&A sessions.
• Provide clear and compliant responses to candidate questions throughout the public procurement process.

3. Vendor Selection & Evaluation

• Analyze incoming technical bids and prepare selection committee presentations.
• Work closely with the IT Infrastructure department to support final award decisions.

4. Migration Management & Operational Readiness

• Validate and supervise the migration strategy with the selected provider.
• Coordinate internal teams across network, security, virtualization, and storage.
• Manage risks, ensure timely reporting, and facilitate stakeholder communication.
• Ensure post-migration operational autonomy and knowledge transfer.

Your Profile

• Education: Masters degree in Computer Science or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience with a Bachelors).
• Experience: 5+ years in IT infrastructure project management (datacenter, networking, telecom).
• Technical Expertise:
  • IT architectures, LAN/WAN, virtualization (VMWare), storage solutions.
  • ISO/IEC 27001 & 20000-1 standards, NIS2 directive compliance.
  • Security, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Project Methodology:
  • Proven mastery of PMP or PRINCE2, ITIL v3.
  • Strong command of project tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.).
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and technical writing skills.
  • Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication in French (native) and fluent English.

Certifications (preferred):

CCNA/CCNP (networking), VCP (VMWare), PMP/PRINCE2 (project management)
