Business Analyst ( Product owner knowledge)

About the role:

Management and Recruitment has been exclusively engaged to identify a senior

Business Analyst with strong Product Owner skills to steer key product workstreams.

You will shape the product vision, own and prioritize the roadmap, and drive end-to-end

delivery in close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

What youll do:

  • Product vision & roadmap Define and communicate a clear product vision
  • aligned to business goals and user needs; prioritize features and releases based
  • on value and feedback.
  • Requirements & documentation Elicit, refine and document requirements,
  • user stories and acceptance criteria; maintain high-quality functional
  • specifications.
  • Architecture & standards Ensure solutions align with agreed architectural
  • principles, business processes, information models, interfaces, QA and
  • documentation standards.
  • Release & deployment Plan, schedule and coordinate releases; track
  • versions; manage the path from development to production.
  • Cross-functional leadership Act as the primary interface between
  • stakeholders, development, QA, operations and supplier organizations; remove
  • impediments and keep delivery on track.
  • Quality & regression control Safeguard UX/functionality; ensure no
  • regression versus existing capabilities.
  • Continuous improvement Streamline installation/release processes and
  • ways of working.
  • Reporting Provide concise weekly status updates, surface risks and issues
  • early with options.

Your profile:

  • Experience 10+ years in Business Analysis and 10+ years in Project/Product
  • Management (overlap welcome). Experience in large public organisations is a
  • plus.
  • Methods & tooling Strong grasp of SDLC and Agile; familiar with ITIL and
  • DevOps practices; versioning with Git or similar.
  • Process skills Solid knowledge of business process analysis & modelling
  • (e.g., UML/BPMN).
  • Technical fluency Comfortable with concepts such as APIs, databases and
  • integration points (hands-on coding not required).
  • Soft skills Excellent communication, stakeholder management and
  • coordination under pressure; structured, analytical and delivery-driven.

Languages:

Native FR or NL, with strong proficiency (written & spoken) in the other national

language and in English.
