Job Overview:

Were hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Start-Up Technician to join our growing team! If you have a strong background in HVAC system commissioning, enjoy working with a variety of commercial and residential equipment, and want to grow your skills with advanced systems like VRF and chillers, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Start-up and commission rooftop units (250 tons), gas burners, split systems, and multistage cooling systems
• Work with VRF systems (training provided if needed)
• Install and start residential-style systems: gas splits, heat pumps, and mini-splits
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Install low-voltage control wiring for thermostats and sensors (humidity, space, enthalpy, etc.)
• Work independently and as part of a team on new construction and retrofit projects
• Maintain clear communication with customers and team members

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in commercial HVAC
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and controls
• Experience with VRF systems is a plus
• EPA 608 Certification (required)
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and use ladders safely
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
