Logistics Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with international, federal, and local shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate records in logistics systems (e.g., ERP, TMS).
- Assist in inventory management and warehouse coordination as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain processes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
- Experience with shipping procedures, freight terms, and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in logistics software such as SAP, Oracle, or TMS platforms.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient With
- ERP, SAP, Oracle, TMS systems.
- Shipping documentation and logistics reporting tools.
Experience Advantage
- Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and freight forwarding.
- Familiarity with KPI tracking and reporting.
