As a System Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our software platform. You will work closely with our development team to deploy new features and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networking components. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. - Work closely with the development team to deploy new features and updates. - Ensure the security and stability of our systems by implementing best practices and protocols. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and scalability. - Continuously improve system processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity. - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in system operations and implement them as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in system operations or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
