The Role
We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to act as the digital voice of BYD Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping our brand narrative, building a vibrant community of EV enthusiasts, and driving engagement across all major social platforms. You will stay ahead of digital trends, translating BYD's cutting-edge automotive technology into compelling, localized content that resonates with the Thai market.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LINE Official Account (OA), and YouTube.
- Content Creation: Oversee the ideation and production of high-quality, engaging content (videos, graphics, and localized copywriting) that highlights our NEV lineup, brand milestones, and sustainability initiatives.
- Community Management: Foster a strong online community. Monitor social conversations, respond to inquiries and comments promptly, and collaborate with customer service to address user feedback.
- Influencer & KOL Management: Identify, negotiate, and collaborate with local automotive influencers, tech bloggers, and lifestyle KOLs to amplify BYD campaigns and car launches.
- Event Coverage: Provide real-time social media coverage for major automotive events, such as the Bangkok International Motor Show, local test-drive events, and product launches.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rate, follower growth, and campaign ROI. Provide actionable weekly and monthly insights to optimize future content.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation, preferably within the automotive, technology, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
- Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of the Thai digital landscape, with proven expertise in maximizing reach and engagement on TikTok, Facebook, and LINE OA.
- Language Skills: Native fluency in Thai with excellent copywriting skills. Professional proficiency in English is required. (Note: Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage).
- Creative & Analytical: A dual mindset capable of brainstorming viral content ideas while deeply analyzing social metrics to guide data-backed decisions.
- Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling international corporate environment. A genuine passion for electric vehicles and sustainable technology is highly desired!
