Position: Lead Product Designer

Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Product Designer to join our team in Uppsala. As a lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design vision, building and maintaining our design system, and elevating our user experience to the next level. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide a team of designers to deliver exceptional digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and champion the end-to-end UX process, from discovery to delivery, ensuring a seamless and impactful user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Develop, scale, and maintain a robust Design System, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality throughout our products.
  • Provide strong Leadership within the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, growth, and high performance.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, set design priorities, and deliver on business goals.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback and data-driven insights.
  • Advocate for user-centric solutions and champion design best practices across the organization.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to talent development within the team.

Core Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with UX Fundamentals, including user research, interaction design, and usability principles.
  • Strong expertise in building and evolving Design Systems in Figma or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring design teams.
  • Proficient in UI/UX design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work.
  • Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in English; Swedish language skills are a plus.
