Job Summary
The Air Traffic Controller (ATC) is responsible for ensuring the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of aircraft in controlled airspace and on the ground. The role involves monitoring and directing aircraft through radio communications, providing pilots with instructions, clearances, and information to prevent collisions, manage traffic flow, and maintain optimal flight operations.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and direct aircraft within assigned airspace and airport control zones.

Issue takeoff, landing, and taxi clearances to aircraft pilots.

Provide pilots with essential information regarding weather, runway conditions, and traffic.

Use radar, computers, and visual observation to track aircraft positions and movements.

Coordinate with other controllers, flight dispatchers, and ground personnel to manage aircraft flow efficiently.

Respond swiftly to emergency situations and apply established safety procedures.

Required Qualifications and Requirements
