Role
We're looking for an outstanding Frontend Engineer to work with a frontend team in the continued development of a wide range of features and services within the recruitment sphere.
As the team's Lead front-end Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the business and development ends of our software as a service (SaaS). This means that you will enjoy a high level of involvement and direct hands-on experience in the planning and development of new and exciting features from inception to deployment.
Our ideal candidate is one who is passionate about building elegant and scalable software and combines superb communication skills and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement key tasks for existing and new features
- Review, merge and deploy code submitted by other frontend team members
- Be prepared to quickly and efficiently investigate, debug, and resolve unforeseen front-end issues.
- Coordinate with the frontend engineers, testers, and project managers about the status and direction of ongoing projects
- Define and refine the direction of Manatals front end architecture
Technical Requirements
- You have 4+ years of experience in building single-page applications using React, Angular, or Vue (we use Vue.js)
- You have high code quality standards and a good knowledge of engineering best practices
- You have built mobile-responsive web applications
- You have exceptional proficiency with CSS and you are someone that has a passion for crafting beautiful User Interfaces and User Experiences
- You have excellent design skills and an exceptional eye for details
- Experience and fluency using Github within a collaborative work environment
- Experience building user interfaces based on Material UI is a big plus
Non-technical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field
- You are a highly motivated individual that thrives in fast-paced environments
- Ability to communicate and comprehend high-level spoken and written concepts in English
- Possesses a strong sense of ownership and accountability for each project undertaken
- Passionate about automation and optimization in daily tasks
- A strong proponent of the Don't Repeat Yourself (DRY) principle
- Open-minded, confident, humble, self-managing, and a solid team player
- Patient and consistent when mentoring or guiding team members
