Electrical Design Engineer,

The Role:

As an Electrical Design Engineer, youll be responsible for producing detailed electrical designs, working closely with project teams, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Designing and developing electrical systems, including control panels, generator controllers, and UPS systems.
• Producing accurate electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
• Preparing technical quotations, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning.
• Troubleshooting and providing technical support for electrical systems.
• Collaborating with Project Managers, Sales, and Technical Teams to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Documenting designs and maintaining compliance with industry and company standards.

About You:

Were looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong technical skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. You will need:

• ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, switchgear, control panels, and estimating.
• An understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
