Job Overview:
As the Marketing Manager in Berlin, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic, increase brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement at our 2 markets in Berlin, Manifesto Potsdamer Platz and Kalle Halle Neukölln. You will work closely with the management team to create and execute marketing plans that align with the market's objectives and contribute to its growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with senior management (Chief Marketing & Sales Officer) to develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the market's goals and objectives.
2. Manage two team members working on event coordination and content creation.
3. Brand Management: Maintain and strengthen the market's brand identity through consistent messaging, visual representation, and customer experience.
4. Digital Marketing: Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media campaigns, email marketing, and online advertising to increase online visibility and drive customer engagement.
5. Content Creation: Collaborate with Content Creator to launch compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels, including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and offline print promotional materials.
6. Event Promotion: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote special events and collaborations hosted at our markets to attract visitors and enhance the overall guest experience.
7. Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with market restaurant partners, local businesses, influencers, and organizations to amplify marketing efforts and reach new audiences.
8. Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends, preferences, and behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
9. Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
10. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to management to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategies.
11. Spend the majority of your working days in the market, working closely with the operations team to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with the overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in marketing management
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create engaging content and effectively communicate ideas.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in German and English is required
