About the job Technical Support Engineer
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer to join our clients team.
Responsibilities:

Lead support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of IT systems, including Windows Servers, PKI environments, networking devices, and backup solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues (Level 3) to ensure system stability, performance, and security compliance.

Manage software deployments, configuration changes, and version control following ITIL best practices.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, disaster recovery procedures, and operational manuals.

Mentor junior IT staff and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver reliable service.
Key Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in IT support, maintenance, or system operations within enterprise environments.

Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server (2022/2019), Active Directory, Hyper-V, and backup solutions (preferably Veeam).

Solid networking knowledge (Cisco, VLANs, routing, firewall, DNS, CDN, Cloudflare).

Familiarity with PKI/CA operations and security compliance standards (EIDAS, ICAO, ISO27001).

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator, or equivalent.
