Senior IT Data Architect - Hybrid 

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in Malta, we are seeking a Senior Data Architect to join their Data Management team. You will lead the design and governance of enterprise data architecture, building a scalable, secure, and future-ready data platform aligned with business strategy and group standards.

 Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise data architecture and data models
• Design cloud-native solutions (AWS, Snowflake, streaming, APIs)
• Lead real-time and batch data integration (CDC, streaming)
• Ensure data platform scalability, performance, and cost optimisation
• Drive data governance, metadata, lineage, and compliance (GDPR, KYCP)
• Support MDM, data quality, and GenAI-ready data capabilities

Requirements

• Strong experience in enterprise data architecture and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Expertise in data modelling, data lakehouse architectures, and Snowflake
• Experience with streaming, APIs, and orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow)
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and MDM frameworks
• Strategic mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
