Client Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Manage client accounting and financial administration activities, including payment processing and expense control.
  • Support the setup and administration of bank accounts, payment platforms, and card management processes.
  • Carry out transaction monitoring and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and client financial summaries.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with audit, taxation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to support day-to-day financial operations.
  • Ensure financial information is maintained accurately and confidentially.

Requirements

  • A-Level, Diploma, Certification, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, back-office financial operations, or compliance.
  • Experience supporting multiple client accounts would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of the maritime or yachting sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Xero, Binderr, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
