Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Specialist Commercial Systems to join our client's team.

The successful candidate will act as the main point of reference for Property Management System (PMS) topics, with a strong focus on Opera Cloud. This is a hands-on systems role within the hospitality environment, combining PMS troubleshooting, project coordination, stakeholder management, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience working within hotel operations, preferably across Reservations, Revenue, Distribution, or Front Office, and a strong understanding of how PMS systems support day-to-day hotel activities. The role does not require a traditional IT or Business Analyst background; instead, it suits someone who understands hotel operations, enjoys working with technology, and is motivated to make processes simpler, smarter, and less manual.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact for PMS-related topics, troubleshooting system issues and supporting users across hotel operations.
• Coordinate PMS developments, system improvements, integrations, and related projects across different departments and stakeholders.
• Support PMS setup and operational readiness for new hotel openings and system-related initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve existing workflows and reduce manual processes.
• Coordinate commercial systems projects, ensuring requirements, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned.

Key Requirements:

• Hands-on hospitality experience, ideally within Reservations, Revenue, Distribution, Front Office, or another PMS-intensive hotel function.
• Strong practical knowledge of Property Management Systems, with experience in Oracle Opera Cloud highly preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting PMS-related issues and/or supporting system users, processes, configurations, or implementations.
• Some experience coordinating projects or system-related initiatives involving multiple departments or stakeholders.
• Tech-minded and solution-oriented approach, with a genuine interest in automation, innovation, and process improvement, together with strong English communication skills.
