An excellent opportunity is available for a motivated Senior Executive – Tax Services to join a dynamic tax team and gain valuable exposure to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. The successful candidate will play an important role in tax compliance activities, assist with advisory projects, and contribute to delivering a high standard of client service within a collaborative and development-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns, and refund claims.
• Maintain accurate client records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of client obligations.
• Assist with the enhancement of internal processes and procedures.
• Support senior colleagues on tax advisory projects.
• Assist with the implementation of standardised templates and workflows.
• Determine documentation requirements for tax engagements.
• Follow up on outstanding information to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver a high standard of client service and support.

Requirements

• ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a tax environment.
• Good knowledge of Maltese tax legislation and tax compliance procedures.
• Knowledge of VAT and/or Transfer Pricing is considered an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Maltese and English.
