Assistant Production Technician

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Assistant Technician who will be reporting directly to the Team Leader, the chosen candidate will form part of a small team within a manufacturing environment.

The responsibilities for this role include:

Performing all duties using the required safety equipment and comply with all safety and HACCP regulations, good manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures and company policies;

Ensuring that interventions carried out are safe and according to the required standards;

Support the Engineering team to seek alternative ways to optimize maintenance costs;

Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Skills and qualifications required:

Be able to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English;

Be an electrical and mechanical oriented person;

Be able to work within a small multidisciplined team;

Have basic computer knowledge and good communication skills;

Experience in any of the following trades will be considered an asset -

electrical, refrigeration, welding (stick, Mig, Tig, Oxy/Acy) pneumatics, plumbing, LPG;

Possess a valid driving license;

Clean police conduct;

Have a flexible attitude towards working patterns
