Semi Conductor Machine Operator

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit Machine operators for a manufacturing client.

As a key member of the Production Team, the Production Operator is responsible for carrying out manufacturing and preparatory tasks in line with company procedures and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety protocols, and a proactive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay up to date with current procedures and best practices relevant to the assigned area of work.

• Actively participate in all required training sessions.

• Operate and maintain all assigned equipment (e.g., Winding, CP Unit, M Unit, Bonding, Assembly, Testing) in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.

• Complete assigned tasks and related documentation accurately, promptly, and in compliance with product and regulatory standards.

• Use and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE) responsibly, ensuring it is stored correctly and kept in good condition.

• Follow all company health and safety protocols.

• Immediately report any faults, damages, or abnormal incidents to the assigned Technician or Production Manager.

• Prepare and carry out necessary pre-production tasks within the assigned section and as directed by the Technical Operator or Production Manager.

• Receive training on and perform re-work activities efficiently and effectively when required.

• Manage time effectively to meet manufacturing and preparatory work targets, including those related to FOG production.

• Seek support or guidance from the Technical Operator when needed.

Other Duties:

Due to the size and dynamic nature of the Production Team, flexibility is essential. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support team operations and overall production goals.
